Maintenance & Safety Work Method of Vacuum Metallizing Machine
Maintenance and lubrication is very important for extending the service life and keeping excellent performance of Vacuum Metallizer. To keep the working environment clean, oil dirt, dust, corrosive gas and liquid are not allowed to enter the vacuum chamber, parts and electrical elements. Observe the working condition frequently, check and solve in time when abnormal noise appears and lubricate regularly.
1. Grounding of the Vacuum Metallizing Machine must be reliable and the conductivity of grounding device should be checked frequently.
2. Diffusion pumps must be supplied with cooling water before heating. To avoid burning the pump core, cooling water should keep supplying until the pump stops and its temperature is lower than 80℃.
3. All parts of the vacuum metallizing machine must be supplied with cooling water before metallizing to avoid burning the electrodes and film.
4. When diffusion pumps are heating, their chambers must maintain a degree of vacuum condition, MUST NOT contact with the atmosphere to avoid pump oil being oxidized, even gas expanding rapidly and exploding.
5. Check and adjust the water flow relay regularly and check the working condition of the water shortage alarm to ensure the supply of cooling water.
6. Check the oil level of roots pumps and rotary vane pumps and add oil regularly, maintain and lubricate as their manual.
7. Ensure the rotary vane pumps have about 30 minutes' gas ballast time every day to discharge the water from the pump oil.
8. When disassemble and assemble parts of the vacuum metallizer, pay attention to protecting all sealing surface from damage to ensure the reliable sealing performance.
9. Vacuum sealing of all transmission shafts are sealed by the skeleton oil seal and lubricant should be added in oil seal. The lubricant will be consumed after a period of use, need to add the same lubricant.
10. Check the position of all travel switches regularly to ensure all parts are in good working condition.
11. Check the oil level and oil quality of all reducers regularly.
12. Drain the water for rotary vane pumps and air compressor every day.
13. Viewing windows of the chamber are made of polymethyl methacrylate, MUST NOT be cleaned by organic solvent, or the clarity will decrease. Should be cleaned by the soft cloth and sodium oxide (it will corrode the skin when dissolved in water).
14. Check the working condition of all synchronous belts frequently and adjust it in time if it's not in the best tightness, because the main transmission of the vacuum metallizing machine is synchronous belt.
15. If power outage suddenly happens when working, must close all valves of the vacuum metallizing machine immediately and ensure cooling water keep supplying to diffusion pumps to avoid being burned. If can't supply cooling water to diffusion pumps, must pour the cooling water to the external surface of pumps continuously to cool down the pumps.
16. When the operator is working in the chamber, must press and lock the button of "emergency stop" on the triangular plate for safety.
17. If don't use the vacuum metallizing machine, must clean the chamber and close the chamber to avoid the chamber, winding device and evaporation device being polluted by dust and steam.
18. If don't use the vacuum metallizer in cold weather, must drain all cooling water in pumps, shield, clapboard, electrodes, etc. to avoid being broken by the frozen water.
